We collect the following types of information:- Camera access: Used only to scan receipts when you choose to take a photo within the app. Images are processed locally or temporarily sent to a secure server for OCR (optical character recognition) and then deleted.- Photos: If you choose to upload an existing photo from your library, the app will process it to extract item information.- Friend names: You can manually enter names of friends to assign items on a bill. These names are stored locally on your device and are never shared or uploaded.- Bill data: Any bill or receipt information (items, prices, tax, totals) is processed locally or temporarily stored for scanning, then discarded after the session ends.- Venmo integration (optional): If you choose to send a payment request via Venmo, we use Venmo's public API to pass the total amount and recipient information. We do not store or access your Venmo login credentials.2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data only to provide the following features:- Extract and display receipt data
- Assign items to people you select
- Help calculate and split totals
- Allow you to send a message or Venmo request with totals
- We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or tracking.3. Data Storage and Security
We store minimal information, and most data is kept only on your device. Temporary data used during OCR processing is deleted immediately after use. We do not collect personal identifiers, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.4. Your Choices
